What is a charger, and where do I find one???
A charger plate is a larger decorative plate that’s used to decorate the dinner table at special events, or whenever you want the table to look extra nice. They are larger than most common dinner plates and aren’t meant to hold food. Instead, the regular dinner plate, soup bowl etc., which do hold food, are placed on top of the charger. The charger is a base. You can find chargers at most any department store (Wal-mart etc.) usually in the housewares or dinnerware department.
