Natural cleaners to spruce up your home, including all-purpose cleaner, room spray and hand soap.
Materials
All-Purpose Cleaner with Lemon Juice
Lemongrass Room Spray
Liquid Lavender Hand Soap
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp. borax (see Glossary)
- 1/2 tsp. washing soda (see Glossary)
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 8-oz. spray bottle
Lemongrass Room Spray
- 3 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. water
- 3 Tbsp. vodka
- 10 drops lemongrass essential oil (see Glossary)
- 4-oz. spray bottle
Liquid Lavender Hand Soap
- 1 tsp. coconut oil (see Glossary)
- 3 Tbsp. carrier oil (see Glossary)
- 1 tsp. vegetable glycerin (see Glossary)
- 2 Tbsp. lavender castile soap (see Glossary)
- 6 Tbsp. water
- 10-20 drops lavender essential oil
- 4-oz. pump or squirt bottle
Instructions
- Before beginning to make your natural cleaners, download and print these labels as the finishing touch on each of your natural cleaner products.
All-Purpose Cleaner with Lemon Juice
- Combine all ingredients in bottle; secure lid tightly and shake well to mix. Before each use, shake well again. Spray directly onto surface and wipe with a wet cloth. Refrigerate between uses, and replace as needed. Yield: 8 oz.
Lemongrass Room Spray
- Combine all ingredients in bottle; secure lid tightly and shake well to mix. Before each use, shake well again. Spray into air away from furniture and draperies. Yield: 3-1/2 oz.
Liquid Lavender Hand Soap
- Melt coconut oil in microwave. Combine all ingredients in a bowl; mix well. Pour into bottle and secure lid tightly. Shake gently before each use. Squirt a small amount to wash hands. Yield: 4 oz.
Remember, these products have no preservatives, so use them up! And though they are all-natural, they’re not edible, and you should take care to keep them out of your eyes.
