With RS facing sew shoulder seams.

NECKBAND: Using smaller double-pointed needles, pick up and k 80(90,94,100) sts around neck opening.

Round 1: * K 1, p 1; repeat from * across: 80(90,94,100) sts.

Repeat Round 1 until work measures 2-1/2(2-1/2,3,3-1/2) in. Bind off. Fasten off, leaving 18 in. of yarn. Thread yarn or tapestry needle with tail of yarn. Fold neckband in half and sew bound-off edge to inside of sweater.

FINISHING: Use yarn or tapestry needle to sew top of sleeves to armhole of sweater body with RS facing.

With RS facing, sew side seams.

Use yarn or tapestry needle to weave in all loose ends.
