Whipping up colorful nontoxic play dough at home is child's play.
Materials
- Salt
- Water
- Flour
- Food coloring
- Recycled jars
- Paint
- Labels
Instructions
- Mix together 1 cup each of salt and water with 2 cups of flour. Add more flour as needed for good consistency.
- Divide into six balls.
- Mix food coloring thoroughly into each ball.
- Place dough balls in clean recycled jars.
- Paint lids to match.
- Add color labels.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Refrigerated play dough will keep for several weeks.
