Instructions

GAUGE: For basket: 11 dcs and 6 rows = 3 inches. For eggs: 4 scs and 4 rows = 1 inch. Slight variations in gauge will change the finished size a bit.

Techniques/stitches used: Refer to knitting/crocheting abbreviations below.

  • Fpdc (double crochet in front post): Yo, insert hk from front to back around post of next st, yo, draw up a lp, [yo, draw through 2 lps on hk] twice to complete the dc.
  • Changing colors: Colors are always changed while completing the last st made with the current color. Work st until there are 2 lps remaining on hk, drop current color, yo with the new color, draw new color through lps on hk and continue stitching with new color.
