Organize your kitchen with this handy and attractive DIY spice storage box that helps you find seasonings in seconds.
- Circular saw or jigsaw
- Two 14-in. 1x4s
- Four 4-in. 1x4s
- Wood glue
- 1/4-in. plywood (for base)
- High gloss paint
- Rope (for handles)
- Use a circular saw or jigsaw to cut 1x4s to size. We cut two pieces 14 in. long for the front and back, and four pieces 4 in. long to create the ends and partitions.
- Assemble the outer frame of the box, using glue and dowels (or finish nails.) Glue and nail the inner partitions in place, spaced at equal intervals.
- Glue and nail on the 1/4-in. plywood base. Lightly sand the box, then apply one coat of primer and two coats of high gloss paint. Add rope handles for a decorative touch.
