Special Stitches:

  • SHELL (SH): (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in sp or st indicated.
  • V-STITCH (V-st): (Dc, ch 2, dc) in sp or st indicated.
  • DOUBLE CROCHET CLUSTER (dc Cl): Holding back last loop, 4 dc in stitch indicated, yo, draw through 5 loops on hk.
  • PICOT (picot): Ch 3, sc in third ch from hk.
  • FRONT POST and BACK POST STITCH (FP dc, BP dc): Work around post from back or front of stitch in dc.

  1. Row 1: Hdc in third ch from hk and next 4 chs, [work 2 hdc in next ch, hdc in next 6 chs] across to last 6 chs, work 2 hdc in next ch, hdc in last 5 chs, turn.
  2. Row 2: Ch 3, [sk 1 hdc, work 3 dc in next hdc] across to last hdc, sk last hdc, dc in top of beginning ch, turn: 45 sets of 3 dc.
