The crocheted baby blanket is just the perfect project for a new nephew unfortunately the material list is for a different project–looks like a quilt project. Would love to know how much yarn I need to complete the baby blanket. thanks

I was reading over the instructions for this crocheted baby blanket. I want to make this for a baby gift. The materials list one – 5 oz ball of yarn of each colour. The instructions mention, using the 2nd ball of yarn for each colour. So are we to have two – 5 oz balls of yearn of each colour or do we split the one ball of yarn of each colour in half, giving us two balls of yarn of each colour?
Thanks
Hi Jacqueline,
Thanks for your inquiry about the baby blanket. I’m glad that you want to make it for a gift. As you already suspected, you’ll need to split the balls of yarn, working with two balls for each color.
