NECKLACE:

  1. Use wire cutters to cut a 16-1/2-, 17-1/2- and 18-1/2-in. length of bead-stringing wire.
  2. On the 16-1/2-in. length of bead- stringing wire, string the following beads: one crimp bead, one cube bead, two crimp beads, three seed beads, one flat oval bead, three seed beads, two crimp beads, one cube bead, two crimp beads, one cube bead, two crimp beads, three seed beads, one flat oval bead, three seed beads, two crimp beads, one cube bead and one crimp bead.
  3. On the 17-1/2-in. length of beading wire, string the following beads: one crimp bead, three seed beads, one flat oval bead, three seed beads, two crimp beads, one cube bead, two crimp beads, three seed beads, one flat oval bead, three seed beads, two crimp beads, one cube bead, two crimp beads, three seed beads, one flat oval bead, three seed beads and one crimp bead.
  4. On the 18-1/2-in. length of beading wire, string the following beads: one crimp bead, one cube bead, two crimp beads, one cube bead, two crimp beads, three seed beads, one flat oval bead, three seed beads, two crimp beads, three seed beads, one flat oval bead, three seed beads, two crimp beads, one cube bead, two crimp beads, one cube bead and one crimp bead.
  5. Being careful to keep all beads on the wires, lay out the three strands on a flat surface or on bead design board with the ends even. Attach a small rubber-tipped clamp to each end to hold all three strands together.
  6. Slide the middle flat oval bead on the center row to the center of the strand. Then snug three seed beads and a crimp bead on each side of the flat oval bead. Use crimping pliers or small pliers to secure a crimp bead on opposite sides of the center beads to hold them in place. Then place the other beads along the strands as shown in the photo at left or as desired. Secure a crimp bead on opposite sides of each section of beads to hold them in place. If desired, use ruler to space the beads evenly along each strand.
  7. With ends even, insert all three ends of the beading wire at one end into a crimp tube bead with a loop. Crimp the tube securely around all three wires. Repeat on the opposite end.
  8. Attach jump or split rings, clasp and tag to necklace.

EARRINGS (make 2):

  1. Attach the loop of an eye pin to the drop loop of an ear post.
  2. Slide the beads onto the eye pin in the following order: three seed beads, one flat oval bead, two seed beads, one cube bead, three seed beads and one crimp bead. Hold all beads close to the loop at the top and secure the crimp bead in place. Use wire cutters to cut excess eye pin close to crimp bead.
  3. Repeat to make the second earring.

Note: Use the largest diameter of bead- stringing wire that will pass through the smallest bead hole in your design.

Finished Size: Top (shortest) strand of three-strand bib necklace is about 17 inches long. Each earring is about 1-3/4 inches long.
