In reviewing this pattern, I think it would be a lot easier to place the pattern on the fold and cut it out with less seams and you could still leave the opening on the top and it would be easier to fill the chicken also then just handsew the opening when you are done stuffing it with the pellets and the polyester filling. Just my thoughts. Cute craft, great job and adorable pictures of your grandchildren, looks like they loved their Easter chickens.
