‘Pasta Perfect’ Contest
Pass the pasta, please! We’re hungry for more recipes than you can twirl a fork at…from angel hair to ziti and everything in between. We invite you to enter your best in our national contest.
Any dish that features noodles—purchased, refrigerated or homemade—as a main ingredient qualifies. You can roll out wagon wheels, dress up bow ties, stuff shells or get saucy with spaghetti.
Send entrees, like spinach fettuccine, linguine with clam sauce, beef Stroganoff or cheesy baked rigatoni. Soups— such as chicken noodle, sausage tortellini and hearty minestrone—could also be contenders.
Feel free to toss out a cold couscous salad fit for a picnic or light lunch. Or go with a substantial hot macaroni salad that warms the stomach and the kitchen.
Sides can be spotlighted, from basil spaetzle to noodle rice pilaf. And we’re looking forward to your fried ravioli appetizers or fruity noodle kugel and other desserts with a twist. The pasta-bilities are pretty much limitless!
The deadline for entering this contest is July 1, 2007. Then our pasta pots and judges will be bubbling over with excitement as we test recipes and pick winners for the February/March 2008 issue.
So, go through your oodles of noodle dishes and share your most palate-pleasing pasta—pronto.
Great Prizes!
The Grand Prize winner will get to choose between a shopping spree worth $600.00 through our Country Store catalog or a $500.00 cash prize. The second-prize winner will earn $300.00, and third prize is $200.00.
Each of the five runners-up will receive a $30.00 free merchandise certificate from Country Store.
